The 5th Ponteland Brownies meet at Ponteland United Reformed Church on Broadway, Darras Hall every Wednesday in term-time, between 6.15 and 7.30 pm.
This term the Brownies have been doing their -
World Thinking Day badge - we think about Girl Guides the world over, and play games and make something related to other countries.
Craft badge - ongoing craft activities ranging from making a desk tidy to a bat and ball
Swimming badge - carried out at Ponteland Leisure Centre
Agility badge - the Brownies need to be able to skip, balance, throw and catch a ball, do a handstand and a forward-roll.
We also fitted in a trip to see “Annie” at the Ponteland Memorial Hall.
At the moment we are preparing to for our Pack holiday in June.
Punctuating the badge work and other activities are other fun and games: we are a friendly lot!
