We noted progress on matters relating to the Junior Church and families with babies or toddlers, the Church Development Project, the Committee of Management’s refurbishment programme and dates for future Mission Partnership meetings. We look forward to improvements in the production of the monthly Newsletter following the installation of new office equipment and are extremely pleased to hear that the Newsletter and the Website present a very positive image for our church in our care and outreach activities.
The major part of our meeting was spent in review; we reviewed ourselves, our actions, our activities and the enhancement of our services. We feel that, over the 5 years that Kevin has been with us, we have not taken and implemented significant decisions for our future development, growth and spiritual enhancement. WE move forward only very slowly if at all as we try to take everyone with us in each decision we discuss at elders and church meetings. Our discussion enabled elders to articulate matters of hope and concern and we will also refer to our Vision 2000 and Mission Statement documents as we continue to seek God’s will in promoting new ways in Worship, Nurture and Outreach at future meetings.
