Things are not easy for Ann Fursdon in Chad. It is a large country, in which it is very difficult to get about. Ann oversees a number of health centres, where the problems of shortage of money, staff and resources are such that she confesses that sometimes she does not know where to begin. This year things are not made any easier by security problems caused by a group of Chadian officers deserting and forming a rebel group, and also violent storms, one of which took the roof off a health centre. Staff members are rebuilding the centre by making home made bricks, 28,000 of them! In carrying out her mission, Ann has a firm and resolute faith, and would welcome our prayers.
