We continue to discuss the future of our Mission Partnership; the partnership is meeting regularly and a group of Elders, together with our ministers form an informal leadership council and we also have a Synod representative to offer advice and guidance when needed. We are still in the process of establishing the way in which we can call a new minister to the partnership. We have prepared a very brief church profile to contribute to this process.
The Elders are looking again on how we can contribute more to Sunday Worship and we will begin by participating in the prayers of intercession when Philip is leading worship. Philip will also prepare workshops on leading worship. These are not just for elders; members of the congregation will be most welcome to join and be part of our worship.
We talked about this year's Lenten meetings and while we will return to this again, the possibility of having house groups again was raised. Special services were discussed; a memorial service, an Easter Passover meal.
The Celebration Day was discussed, the details of organising what events and displays will be arranged were deferred until later.
